Introduction

I imagine that the reason you are reading this preface is because you intuitively felt something from the mysterious figures on this book.
First of all, I would like to thank you for picking up this book.

This book recounts the adventure of discovering what this mysterious figure is all about. Since we focused on having our readers relive this adventure, we decided to include the thoughts and episodes leading up to the discovery as they were, rather than as an easy-to-understand manual. In that sense, it is by no means an easy-to-understand book, and it can be said that I dared to avoid easy-to-understand explanations.
This is because the outburst of life  occurs  before understanding, and this  outburst of life  itself is one of the things I want to convey in this book. I am hoping to deliver to you an experience, rather than a purely intellectual understanding of facts. Though of course, it would be a simulated experience because it’s through a book …

So what exactly is this mysterious figure?
This is what we call the figure of sound, the “Phonogram”. The study of Phonogram  was born out of the  desire to solve a problem of violin timbre and shape. By tracking and studying the changes in the figure of this sound, we have clarified the relationship between the timbre and shape of musical instruments, and have actually making violins in the process.
The secrets of Stradivari’s timbre would never be revealed without this Phonogram study. Phonogram is also present in your body, and once you are able to see this, it becomes clear that this may be the origin of the concept of meridians (keiraku) in Oriental medicine.

Currently, it is clear that modern science cannot fully explain these two phenomena. This  is because modern science, which is largely based on the visual perception, often overlooks the element of auditory perception (which is different from acoustic science). A detailed discussion of this will be presented in the sequel to this book.
The position of this book is to act as an introduction to a new science  which opens up such auditory cognition.

This research was started around 1990. It was a phenomenon discovered by Mr. Fukunaga, a collaborator who has  since passed away. I have taken over this unfinished research, making  an effort to pass it on to the next generation. I hope that everyone reading this book will be as excited to read this book of adventure, as I was, when I came across this phonogram study.

At that time, I was fascinated by mathematics in the field of complex analysis.
I couldn’t help but wonder why the formal geometric figures were hidden in physical things such as sounds and shapes. I believe the driving force of research to be  a sensitivity to this wonder. When one mystery is  solved, the next one appears. It continues endlessly, and the secret veils are stripped, one by one.
Seeking only intellectual understanding without this experience is not only meaningless but even harmful. Unfortunately,  the modern standardized testing system is like this. For those who have become accustomed to such education, the structure of this book may not only be difficult to read, it may even seem nonsensical. This is because, people who believe that “to understand something” is “to be able to explain using already established facts” would not know how to process something truly unknown.

However, the most important point in this book is exactly how to deal with this truly question unknown and how to proceed. This attitude is actually life itself, and what I have expressed as the “outburst of life.”

“Knowledge” is a phenomenon that is born out of “life” and therefore knowledge cannot fully comprehend “life.” What I want you to experience is the process of the unconscious naturally becoming knowledge. Therefore, this part may seem like a story, similar to a myth.
Fact is stranger than fiction!
You will find the (true) episodes to be more entertaining than a mundane movie.

In search of the lost ring (connection) between the physical and spiritual

This book asks the question,  “what is Phonogram?”

The main content of this book consists of the considerations and stories from  path to discovering of the phonogram, as well as a physical demonstration of the isophonic surface, which is an indirect proof of the phonogram’s existence. It is a story depicting  the dawn of phonogram research (1999-2013), and  the record leading up to the first step of definitive evidence.
Why is the physical proof of the isophonic surface so important?
That’s because I had to stick to it in order to regain the lost (ring) connection between the physical and spiritual. As far as I know, there is no research in history which aims to find out what kind of relationship they have, rather than showing that spirituality is superior to materiality. And who would have thought that the study of violin timbre was the way to discover this? There are actually reasons why it is impossible for modern science to uncover the secrets of Stradivari’s timbre.
Modern science is built on visual cognition, and observation refers to electromagnetic observation. However, this book will reveal that the shape of the violin is determined by sound (tapping tone).
The identification of this sound is not done by a machine which calculates the frequency distribution with a spectrum analyzer, but through a cognitive process in which the body senses to the sound, recognizing such things as the nuances of chords and beat frequencies.

Hearing differs from vision in that there are two cognitive forms. One is sound recognition as a digital signal sent to the cerebrum via stapes, incus, malleus, etc., and the other is sound recognition as an analog signal from the lymphatic vessels of the cochlea to the lymph nodes of the whole body.
These two cognitive forms can be understood as the difference between equal temperament and just intonation. And the unfillable gap between the digital signal recognized by the cerebrum and the analog signal recognized by the body is the reason for the existence of the Pythagorean comma.

Modern science based on visual cognition is a science that deals only with digital signals of the cerebrum, so it fits well with mathematical expressions. But the analog and introspection information of the human body does not go through the frontal lobe, so it is outside the framework of those scientific paradigms. Here we can see the possibilities of a new science, and why there is a disconnect between religion based on introspective cognition and modern science based on frontal lobe Gestalt cognition.
And it is none other than our bodies  that connects them.
Even if only the human body is the subject of research, it will not be an empirical study because it will only be talked about as an experience, just like religion and mysticism. I could have chosen to dismiss any attempts at scientific proof, but I chose to pursue.
It is also unreasonable to try and place all phenomena within the framework of physics, like many modern scientists do, because this is a paradigms that is limited by the Gestalt cognition of the frontal lobe.
The research that bridges these two worldviews is the phonogram research, a quest to uncover the mystery  hidden in the connection between the sound and shape of musical instruments.

So how is the phonogram actually drawn? This is done by decomposing the tapping tone at each point on the resonance plate in the mind for each frequency, and draws the lines of the sound of the same frequency continuously. This is all done with one’s own ears and hands.
As you gain more musical experience, you will be able to clearly identify subtle combinations of sounds and differences in chord nuances. Using this  distinguishing ability, we will investigate how the frequency distribution at each point on the board differs. The concept of isophonic surface is the perfect match of frequency distribution at all points on the resonance plate.
As the violin is carved into an isophonic surface, all its physical shapes are determined naturally. There is no room for people’s arbitrariness.

But here you might wonder: can there be any objectivity in such a sensory thing as the phonogram?  Could it be just a figment of your imagination?
It can be said that it took about 20 years of  research to establish objectivity to this phenomenon called Phonogram.
The importance of this attempt to ensure objectivity is one of my most emphasized points. People who believe Mystics or religions  have not tried to guarantee  further objectivity beyond their bodily sensations. Rather, I think it would be impossible for them.
After all, isn’t it the reality that because this objectivity could not be given, there was no choice but to make it authoritative ?
Suffice it to say, although this authority was necessary, isn’t it an undeniable fact that it also made people blind and dependent?

The common ideas of childish spirituality and supposed high-dimensional information  can only be thought of as a blasphemy of the human spirit.
We must do what humans on earth should do. Whether or not God exists, this  shouldn’t change.
Phonogram research does not make any  leaps in logic or escape to higher dimensional information. It is no exaggeration to say that here lies the true worth of phonogram research. In this sense as well, you can see how important the physical demonstration of the isophonic surface is.

Phonogram research provides a unified perspective on two different fields: violin making research and manipulative research.
The phonogram of the body is the true picture of the meridians(keiraku) in oriental medicine. The meridian shows the distortion of the sound figures recognized through introspection. Even this meridian phenomenon cannot be elucidated without a phonogram.

There are several treatises that have been said to elucidate meridian phenomena in modern science, but they are only  done so within the framework of modern science, and is limited to frontal lobe brain gestalt cognition.
This phonogram study reveals  not only the mystery of Stradivari’s timbre, the reason for the existence of the Pythagorean comma, and the mystery of meridian phenomena, but I believe that the true significance of phonogram research is defining where the limit of our current science is, and how we can venture beyond this.

This book is structured to have you reexperience with us  the adventures leading up to the first step of the new science paradigm.

Structure of this book

This book is composed of two parts, the “Theoretical Consideration Part” and the “Episode Part.” The Theoretical Consideration Part is written in a format that follows the timeline of research. Here you can see the perspective from which the considerations were advanced at that time.

It is often the norm for books to lay out the conclusions only, but for this book, I have avoided writing in such a manner. So to speak, it is not a beautiful formula, but rather a structure that arranges the debris of the calculation papers up to that point.
If you only want to know only the beautiful results, please read the paper “Form shaped by sound ~Intoroduction of Acoustic Symetry” in this book. However, it is important to consider what was done in order to produce this beautiful result,  so I would like to urge everyone to read it.
Also, the idea of non-frontal brain gestalt science, which  I plan to address in a later book, has its origins during this time, and so there is more in this section than simply the results of the experiments. Of course, the physical proof of the isophonic surface is the final conclusion of this book, but this conclusion will provide a solid foothold for later discussions.

In the sense that I would not be able to confidently claim anything without proving the isophonic surface, the result is a milestone for me and can be said to be my first academic victory.

The episode section is comprised of stories from before when theoretical considerations were made. The memories of suffering from the research era are written just as they were.
We were doing our research without words, and without fully understanding what we were doing, so it can only be told as a story.

The theoretical consideration part is from 2011, but until then, I had been conducting my research by drawing phonograms, carving musical instruments, and tuning the human body. Therefore, I had been researching in a world without words at all.
Also, my collaborators and I often communicated through induction (a form of telepathy), so there truly was no language in our research. Rather, because so much was impossible to verbalize, there was a fear that, even if not a complete lie, the important essence would be lost through the use of language.
Yet, I still chose have chosen the path of verbalization.
This episode section is an attempt at conveying the content of previous research. It’s a story, so  reading it should be like watching a movie.

I think that there will be those who become interested in the episode section after reading the theoretical consideration section, and those who become interested in the theoretical consideration section after reading the episode section. Both sections can be enjoyed from either order, as they each complement the other.

In the coming era

In the late 1990s, when I was a student, the initial bubble economy had collapsed, but the following IT bubble had just begun. The keywords that which describe the social situation at that time are words such as winners and losers, windows95, financial engineering, and the bankruptcy of Yamaichi Securities’. It was a time when no one dreamt that humanity was heading its end.

Now in the year 2020, doesn’t everyone have such fears, more or less?
For some reason, I knew from the bottom of my heart that such an era would surely come. And when I was seriously thinking about what I could do to prevent this, I came across this phonogram and decided to devote myself to its research.

Why aren’t things such as politics and economics making humanity better off?
Why, despite there being such fine religions, haven’t we reached a peaceful world?
Why won’t scientific advancements bring people happiness?
Why do more people get sick as medical care advances?

All of these are due to the hyperactivity of the human frontal lobe.
Examining the phonogram of the human body when this frontal lobe is over-enhanced reveals a fractal swirl pattern. The characteristic of this pattern is a fractal pattern in which eight small vortices emerge from the central vortex, and eight strands emerge from the small vortex.
The important thing is that the centralized top-down form has a fractal structure and continues to back itself up. This state of resonance between the body and brain, when reflected onto the material world, becomes our civilization. Top-down information transmission is the foundation of society, technological science. In conspiracy theories, etc., this is often  represented by such things as the Eye of Providence in the pyramid, but these are not merely symbols, but they are our physical resonance itself.
In other words, no matter how much politics, economy, or religion is improved, society is essentially unchanged unless the phonogram, which is the model of consciousness, is changed.

So what should we do? Phonogram research responds to this.
The frontal lobe brain swirl phonogram corresponds to what is referred to in religion as self-consciousness. Since ancient times, various methods have been passed down on how to release this spiral phonogram. Some of them have become obsolete forms, while others are intentionally hidden. Phonogram research is a reorganization of this from a more modern perspective. The modern perspective refers to a point of view which is not reliant on any suspicious religious ideas.

By extinguishing the spiral phonogram and strengthening the resonance of the whole body, the brain’s frontal lobe hyperactivity is reduced as the brain’s active area is expanded across a larger domain. At this point, the phonogram pattern becomes a fractal mandala pattern.
Mandala exists as a reality, not as a symbol. When this happens, you are released from the grasp of the narrow self-consciousness, and the so to speak stand-alone PC terminal becomes connected to the server. You will be in a state of consciousness where the whole and the individual are connected. Then the fractal mandala pattern will change the information transmission format into a state where everything is simultaneously the center and also a part an autonomous distributed system. When this is transferred onto the material world, we will begin to see hints for the next social system and technological science.

In other words, I want you to know that the key to the future of human society is not in AI or quantum computers, but in the human consciousness and body.
Current science and AI are only focused on enhancing the activities in the frontal lobe, which is a part of the cerebrum.

It is impossible for a machine to create an isophonic surface. It is the final battle war between cerebral thinking (Lucifer) and physical wisdom (God).

This is what is happening within us, the cerebral cortex and the body.
The future of mankind depends on all of us.

About the contents of the sequel and the future

I really wanted to write everything in one book, but due to space limitations, I have limited the extent of what is recorded.
This book is a summary of the research results up to 2013, but the phonogram research has been progressing since then.

First, the ability to physically demonstrate isophonic surfaces has made it possible to express it  mathematically using the  stochastic processes. Interestingly, the behavior of particles on the non isophonic sueface oscillated by random noise is exactly the same as the Schrodinger equation, which is the basic equation of quantum mechanics. However, mathematical expressions and physical proofs are observations and expressions in the world in frontal lobe brain gestalt cognition. In that sense, the demonstration of the isophonic surface and its mathematical expression are the frontal lobe brain gestalt expressions of the non-frontal lobe brain cognition called phonogram.
Simply put, it is a frontal lobe approximation of the actual phonogram. The actual phonogram is non-frontal lobe brain cognition, and its expression form is not mathematical.
Even so, there was a discovery of a geometric structure called 12KEN that was somehow made expressible. The meaning of this 12KEN may not be understood by scientists and mathematicians tied to the frontal lobe brain gestalt.
Also, if the phonogram as it is, is a new geometrical expression in non-frontal gestalt cognition, this is itself a new science.
I call this non-frontal lobe brain gestalt science.
The research to theoretically connect the mathematical expression of the isophonic surface and 12KEN is a future task, but the change of cognitive form and expression must be incorporated through the Pythagorean comma.

The sequel to this book will focus on this proposal of a non-frontal lobe brain gestalt science. Also, I would like to discuss what kind of things will be possible through this.
Frontal lobe brain gestalt science is the science of material matter, but non frontal lobe brain gestalt science is the science of consciousness. And the consciousness phenomenon is closely related to the phenomenon of gravity.
The method of controlling gravity is actually the method to control the consciousness.
This will reveal ways to avoid the looming crisis to humankind that may occur in the future. It can be said that, by some time, we will need to have evolved enough to control gravity.

I intend to not only propose theories, but to carry out activities with the intention of causing actual changes in  civilized society. To do so, I need to separate my research from myself and make it a more universal education system. At the same time, we must immediately commercialize what we have learned and actually give back to society.
It’s not something I can do alone, but people from various fields who resonate with me have  gathered to help reach my goal.
I sincerely hope that this book will contribute to the construction of a new human society by joining hands with as many people as possible.
